Short Bio

Ali Bilgin's research interests are in the areas of signal and image processing, and include magnetic resonance imaging, image and video coding, and data compression. He has published over 200 research papers and has several issued and pending patents in these areas.

Bilgin is a member of the UA BIO5 Institute. He is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, and a member of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine and the International Optics Society.
